"Simply stated, the books you'll see featured on this page are the crème de la crème."
When we review sportsbooks here at Netbettor, we classify a book as a Netbettor favorite if it meets the following criteria. First, and most importantly, they have to financially solvent. All the books featured on Netbettor have a long history of honoring their bets and not getting into financial binds. One of the most irritating-not to mention terrifying-things that can happen to a sports bettor is to win a bunch of money at an offshore, only to have the withdrawal tied up for month in 'processing' (note: in the world of sportsbook-speak, any 'processing' that takes longer than a week or so is usually a euphemism for 'we're totally over extended right now, and can't pay you off until we collect some more deposits'.) Frequently these transactions end with the player only getting part-if any-of his withdrawal. At Netbettor we simply don't screw around with anything other than established, top-tier books. None of the books listed here are fly-by-night outfits, run by a couple guys on the lam from the Mafia. They are all established firms that don't jerk their players around. If you snoop around on the 'net and check out the various message boards you'll soon see that all the books listed here are universally respected amongst offshore players. Simply stated, the books you'll see featured on this page are the crème de la crème. Second, they have to offer a decent sign-on bonus. Reload bonuses are nice but not required. Given the hold on most sports bets it only seems reasonable to up that a book can offer something in the way of a sign-on bonus. The scope of these bonuses vary from book to book, but all of them offer a sign-on bonus that at least compares favorably to the industry standard. Third, each one of these books has to offer something 'extra'-by which we mean, they all have to have something unique going for them. In the case of Pinnacle, for example, it's the five cent juice on all major point-spread sports and the ten cent juice on hockey (currently the only book that deals a ten cent line on the NHL ). With Skybook it's the free half point. At the end of each full-length review we tell you what it is that keeps the book in question a notch above the rest of the competition.
Here is a list of some other online sportsbooks which have a reputation for fair dealings with their customers. If you have any questions about any of these online sportsbooks feel free to contact us directly at questions@netbettor.com and we'll be happy to answer any questions you may have.
